Beach zones
The beach is zoned for safety and convenience, identifying the areas set aside for swimming, dogs, horse riding and extreme sports. For further information look at the signs or contact the Coastal Officer.
Wristbands
Please put a wristband on your child. They are available free of charge from the Coastal Office or Beach Patrol Staff and bases on the beach. Wristbands will help to ensure your child is found quickly and safely if they get lost.
Barbecues
Camber is a unique but fragile environment. Please do not start fires, and take care with barbecues. Use only those on legs so that they are raised above the sand, and take them away with you when you have finished.
Please do not use disposable barbecuse – they cause burns and injuries if left on the sands and can and cause fires if put in litter bins.
