How to travel to and around 1066 Country
Despite its feeling of seclusion, 1066 Country is living proof that a breath of fresh air doesn’t need to mean a long journey. On a direct rail route from London and served by Southern and Southeastern, it’s just 90 minutes to Hastings or one hour to Rye, making it the perfect escape – and an easy one too.
If you're travelling from Europe, it's within easy reach of the main seaports used by cross-channel ferries, as well as LeShuttle. It’s just over a one hour journey from Eurostar, St Pancras International too.
