The British Tea Museum

About

The British Tea Museum is an Educational Tourist Attraction celebrating the customs and manners of British Teatime.

We are open for GROUP BOOKINGS of over 20 and up to 75.

We offer a unique 90 minute Tea Experience, whereby Guests learn about the Social History of Tea along with etiquette of the Teatime table. Guests get to explore our tea chests which offer up to 30 delicious teas and tisanes. Guests enjoy the Tea Tasting Station where they get to learn about the different teas and tisanes. There are demonstrations on how to prepare the perfect scone with cream and jam and there are demonstrations on how to make the perfect cuppa! The Tea Experience has a Victorian Carriage complete with dress up box for all to use; people love sitting on the carriage and taking photos and wearing silly costumes.

There is a piano for anyone to play, and the experience finishes with a Victorian Tea Dance, followed by a Crazy Dance.

We end with Tea Sales and Tibetan Bowl Chants as we ask all our guests to go back into the real world, feeling refreshed and restored.
