Local teams compete wearing fancy dress in this traditional annual competition dating back to 1945. In the shadow of the mighty Battle Abbey, local pubs and clubs enter teams of 5 players and compete to win both the marbles and the fancy dress trophies. Approximately 20 teams are expected to take part with ‘flick-off’ at 10am. Entry in advance with an “all-comers board” for spectators of all ages.
The children’s Easter Bonnet competition is at 11.30 and all children can join in the popular marbles scramble too!
Free to spectate.
