Cloaks for Courage eco-poetry workshop

About

kin'd & kin'd Eco-Poetry Workshop with Clare Whistler & Kay Syrad
Saturday 15th February, 2-5pm
£35 per person, all materials provided & all welcome!
Join poetry duo kin'd & kin'd for a special one-off talk and writing workshop to explore the making of the Cloak for Courage in the Anthropocene (which will be on display in the gallery, and on tour across UK venues throughout the year).
Clare and Kay will guide you through explorations into our own courage, resistance and the power of community during times of ecological and societal shifts.
Cloaks have significance too in Celtic folklore and the festival of Imbolc: St Brigid's cloak was one of many miracles she performed and is said to have created County Kildare in Ireland.
What possibilities can cloaks for courage hold for us today?
