The Mary Stanford Lifeboat disaster of 1928, a history in photographs – talk by Dr Roy Brigden.
Maritime songs about life at sea, including the song ON-661 (The Lifeboat Mary Stanford) - performed by the HogEye Men shanty duo.

The Mary Stanford Lifeboat House on the beach at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve stands as a memorial to the courageous crew who lost their lives in one of the worst disasters in the RNLI's history. Event proceeds will support Rye Harbour Nature Reserve and Discovery Centre, as well as the campaign to save this important building.
Our café will be open as usual, serving refreshments, and we're a wheelchair-friendly venue.
