Make the most of the longer evenings by joining one of our sell-out dinners at Rye Harbour Discovery Centre. Enjoy a curry with an unbeatable view!
As you arrive at our café with its picture windows, the sun will be low over stunning views of the Nature Reserve. You might spot some birds, perhaps Avocets, Oystercatchers, swooping Swallows or Cormorants flying over.
Start the evening with poppadoms and chutneys, followed by a choice of homemade curry, served with a garlic naan bread: Chicken Biryani, tender pieces of chicken tikka in aromatic rice, served with a vegetable curry. Or Vegetable Biryani, vegetables in fragrant rice with fresh herbs and a rich vegetable curry.
For dessert, choose from homemade Mixed Berry Cheesecake or Lemon Curd Meringue Roulade with cream or ice cream.
It's a 'bring your own' evening with no corkage fee. So bring along a crisp white, or a refreshing beer! Cold non-alcoholic drinks and teas & coffees will be available to buy.
The price for three courses is £29.95 per person. Our child (or small appetite) half-size portion is £15.95. Proceeds from this event support Rye Harbour Nature Reserve and the Discovery Centre.
