Built in the 1760s, this two bedroomed, Grade 2 listed cottage is conveniently located for travelling by car or bus to nearby Hastings, Rye, Battle or to enjoy walking in the beautiful, rolling countryside of the High Weald area of outstanding natural beauty.
The cottage mixes old-world charm, with every modern convenience. With low-beamed ceilings and log burning open fire in the inglenook fireplace, you can enjoy quiet evenings in, watching the smart TV with Netflix and a DVD player or enjoy the cosy dining table in the well-appointed country kitchen. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer.
The downstairs bathroom has a hand-held shower. The narrow cottage staircase leads to the bedrooms, one with twin single beds and one with a double bed. Towels and bed linen are of course provided.
The courtyard cottage garden features comfortable wooden furniture and a barbecue but if you don’t fancy cooking, there is a quiet country pub just a few steps away where you can enjoy excellent food in a dog-friendly and hospitable atmosphere.
Free parking is on the other side of the village green, by the church, on the other side of the road.
One dog is welcome.
Bus: There is a bus stop outside the property.
