Shear Barn Holiday Park offers three grades of home from home accommodation: Classic, Superior, and Platinum, and a newly updated adapted unit equipped with ramps, wet rooms and widened doors for guests with accessibility issues.
Each of the self-catering lodges, and caravan-style units are very different- from the layout to the decor, however all are equipped with a comfortable living area and fully furnished kitchen, and a decking with table and chairs. Towels and linen are also provided as standard.
Shear Barn offers pet-friendly accommodation, some of the superior and platinum units have a private outdoor hot tub, others host breathtaking sea views or views of the country park.
Classic Accommodation
Our classic lodges offer great home from home comfort without the hefty price tag. These units are ideal for families or couples who are looking for an escape in a comfortable lodge or for a base whilst they explore the local area. Some lodges in this collection are caravan-style units, and some have scenic views.
Superior Accommodation
Stylish and comfortable, this collection of lodges is perfect for a family escape. Upgrade to a superior with hot tub for extra luxury. Some lodges in this collection are caravan-style units, and some have scenic views.
Platinum Accommodation
When only the best will do, indulge in our exclusive range of platinum lodges: breath-taking views, light and spacious rooms, luxuriously chic and modern interior, and some with relaxing outdoor hot tubs. This selection has been crafted for those seeking the very best in a holiday experience. Go on… Treat yourself!
Adapted Accommodation
Our newly renovated, fully adapted unit has a ramp entrance, and is built with a wider hallway and doorways, permitting wheelchair access. The lowered kitchen units and sink make this an ideal unit for those who are less able-bodied or require a more accessible unit.
Please note not all our lodges have sea views. Our reception team can guide you as to which lodges have the best views, subject to availability.
Excellent on-site facilities include an indoor heated swimming pool, two bars and a restaurant, and an outdoor play area. The House Bar is the smaller, pet-friendly bar. The Retreat, and Butchers Hook are the main bar and restaurant, serving a fresh, locally sourced menu of favourites, and hosting live weekend-entertainment throughout the main holiday season.
Shear Barn also has a 300+ pitch touring and camping field. This offers a relaxing break for tourers and campers in a rural setting surrounded by woodland walks. There are plenty of toilets and showering facilities in the modern amenities blocks, including a disabled wet room in the central block. Positioned by the coast near to Hastings’ Old Town and Seafront. Shear Barn is the ideal family getaway, perfect for making precious memories.
