The George Inn Robertsbridge is a beautiful, dog friendly country pub set in the heart of historic Robertsbridge. Under new ownership since 2023, the George offers fine dining 7-days a week in a newly refurbished restaurant and an updated, secluded courtyard garden.
The George is open 7-days a week from 9am (8am in the summer months) with an extensive menu and a daily specials board. Whether you’re looking for a full English breakfast on your way to the coast, a light lunch after a ramble through the countryside, coffee and cake with friends or a three-course meal the George is the perfect stop.
With four large, en-suite bedrooms the George Inn is a great base for exploring the local walks and attractions East Sussex has to offer. It is located just 8 minutes from Battle, 5 minutes from Bodiam Castle and surrounded by vineyards and local breweries. We have our own car park in front of The George and additional free parking is available in the High Street. The train station is a short 10-minute walk away, providing direct access to London Charing Cross as well as Royal Tunbridge Wells, historic Battle and the coastal towns of Rye and Hastings.
