Wilding in the Weald

About

At Wilding in the Weald we offer stays on our farm that allow you to have the full immersive experience of being surrounded by nature. We offer the choice to stay in one of our 2 bell tents or our shepherds hut.

We are a vegan farm of 110 acres that promotes rewilding and allowing nature to dominate. The farm is under Natural England’s guidance and rewilding through conservation work, which includes our herd of semi wild horses, sheep and 2 pigs rotating around the farm to graze it alongside the wildlife who live here.

There are many wonderful places of interest that are nearby to visit but we have a lot of experiences on offer here too that people staying can get involved in. This includes being involved in the archaeological excavations on the Bronze Age Settlement we have found here, joining in on our nature connection/ forest school days, joining workshops led by experts such as ecologists to learn about the nature/rewilding we have here at the farm and having an experience with our herd of horses and donkeys in our Equine Assisted Personal Development offerings such as retreats or 1:1 sessions.
